EU calls on Apple to stop geo-blocking practices on Apple Media Services

BRUSSELS (Reuters) – The European Commission said on Tuesday that along with national authorities it was calling upon Apple (NASDAQ:AAPL) to stop geo-blocking practices on Apple Media Services.

Geo-blocking is the practice of restricting content according to a user’s geographical location.
